  1. Can your affiliate pharmacies fill a prescription written by an American doctor?
Yes they can once a Canadian doctor has reviewed your "chart" and approved the prescription under his/her Canadian license.

  2. Is there a dispensing fee charged for each prescription order?
Our dispensing fees are included in our prices. There are never any hidden fees at CanadaRx.

  3. Do I get charged a shipping fee for every prescription order and how can I track my order?
The shipping fee is $19.99 CDN for all prescription orders regardless of how many meds each order may contain. All packages are shipped via Canada Express Post and may be tracked online through the Canada Post automated parcel tracking system.

  4. Are all prescription drugs available in the United States also available at CanadaRx?
Although most drugs are available in Canada, not all medications available in the United States are available in Canada. We also do NOT ship any narcotics or controlled substances.

  5. What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept VISA and MASTERCARD.

  6. What quantity of medication can I order each time I place an order with CanadaRx?
CanadaRx can fill for a maximum 3 month supply, as long as your prescription indicates a 90 day supply. If your physician has indicated refills on your prescription, we can refill the order every 90 days as well.

  7. What does CanadaRx require in order to process my order?
CanadaRx requires a completed Patient Health Profile, Order Form and the original prescription. Please fax the prescription, the Health Profile and the Order form upon completion to our toll free fax number at 1-866-366-5381 and we will begin to process your order immediately.

  8. How long before I can expect my medication(s) to arrive at my door from the time I place my order?
It will take 10-14 business days to process your order once we have received the Patient Health Profile and the Order Form accompanied by the prescription. An additional 7-10 business days will be required for shipping time. The entire process may take 21 business days before your medications are received.

  9. Do you accept prescription returns?
We can not accept returns. The law states that, "A pharmacist shall not accept for return to inventory any drug that has been previously dispensed" Pharmaceutical Act Section 23(1) Return Medication (1)

  10. Can family members have their orders shipped together in the same package?
No. Due to privacy laws, each order is shipped in its own separate package. Each individual is charged a separate shipping fee for each order, this applies to all orders- including those going to the same address.

  11. Are the prices on the website in Canadian or American funds?
Currently, all the prices on the Canada Rx website are in American funds. Once you receive your invoice you will notice that the medication price is listed in Canadian funds and a converted price is listed at the bottom of the invoice. This converted price is based on the current conversion rate and is subject to change without notice.

  12. What is the difference between brand name and generic medications?
Generic medications are the exact same medication as brand name medications, they are simply made by another company. Due to strict regulations on the generic drug industry, these drugs must provide the same therapeutic effect as the brand name drug. A generic drug is a medication for which the original manufacturer has lost patent protection. Because of this, other manufacturers are allowed to produce and sell the exact medication at a lower more competitive price.

  13. Do you contact my doctor for prescriptions and/or prescription renewals?
All patients are required to contact their physicians directly for all new prescriptions, including renewal prescriptions. Canadarx does not contact doctors directly for prescriptions.

  14. Do you automatically process refills every three months?
We do not automatically process refills. The customer must call us in order to place a refill for a prescription. Refills can also be placed on-line, by choosing on-line refill option, or by fax.

  15. Are the international medications as good as those sent from Canada?
We feel that the medications being sent from the international pharmacies are every bit as safe and effective as the Canadian versions. The packaging of the international medications may differ from Canadian packaging and with certain medicines international pack sizes do vary from Canada.
